The VETS 312 Emergency Towing Hawsers are right regular lay constructed rope using DuPont™ Kevlar^® 29. The Hawser construction gives the VETS 312 Hawser line the torque match and strength properties that are compatible with steel ship assist lines typically found on Tugboats.

The VETS 312 Hawser line is designed specifically to comply with IMO resolution MSC 35(63) for tankers between 20,000 and 50,000 dwt. (VETS 312-1) and for tankers 50,000 dwt. and above (VETS 312-2).
