Suspension Lines

Whitehill Manufacturing designs and manufactures a wide variety of high performance rope products that are used in suspension applications.

Synthetic lines used in suspension applications are an alternative to steel cable that is five times lighter, easier to handle and has little or no associated maintanace. Often synthetic lines are considered when the scale or strength requirements of a steel cable would not be feasible.

Whitehill's most famous DuPont™ Kevlar® suspension line is over 17,000 feet in length. It is deployed across two mountaintops at the White Sands aerial Cable Range in New Mexico.
